Go Wild! 20th Annual 'Jungle Boogie Zoobilee' Tonight

Tallahassee, FL - The Jungle Boogie Zoobilee is tonight, Friday, 11/2/12, at the Tallahassee Museum.

The disco ball was up and ready for the adults only party.

The Zoobilee is all you can eat and drink, with live music and activities. The event is one of the museum's biggest fundraisers.

Sarah Turner with the Tallahassee Museum says, "They [fundraisers] are what fund our education programs and our animal care programs as well for the whole year. So, all the free activities we offer throughout the year, the baking demonstrations, workshops. We couldn't function without these events. So, they're very important."

Tallahassee, FL - Tallahassee Museum invites guests to come out in their {faux} animal-skin finest and eat, drink and boogie at Jungle Boogie Zoobilee 2012 on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 from 7-10 p.m.

The dynamic band Groove Merchants will go wild on the dance floor with eclectic crowd favorites while attendees take breaks from doing the jaguar jive only to savor mouth-watering cuisine from more than 15 local restaurants and rehydrate with free-flowing jungle juice from the open bar. Guests eager to channel their inner George of the Jungle can choose to add on a moonlight safari on the Tree to Tree Adventures course.

Now in its 20th year, Zoobilee is a highly anticipated annual fall event. In addition to raising funds for the not-for-profit Museum, the events introduce the local icon to new guests and remind the community and surrounding areas of the unique experience that is Tallahassee Museum.
