Tallahassee Museum and Native Nurseries are teaming up again for the 2014 Annual Birdseed Benefit Sale starting Friday, January 17 through Thursday, January 23. Please see below for more info:

Who: Tallahassee Museum and Native Nurseries

What: Join Tallahassee Museum and Native Nurseries, January 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a demonstration on how to create a more attractive bird garden. Also learn how to create pinecone feeders, enjoy hot cider, watch a wildlife puppet show, and enjoy up-close encounters with some of the Tallahassee Museum's mammals and St. Francis Wildlife Association birds of prey. Shoppers also enjoy 15% off quality birdseed and a 10% discount on birdfeeders from Native Nurseries from January 17-23. A percentage of birdseed sales will benefit Tallahassee Museum and the various educational programs and events.

  • 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. – Bird Garden Workshop

  • 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Animal Encounters

Why: Capture helpful tips on how to enhance gardens during the dormant winter season.
