TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- It's Taco Tuesday! And what better way to celebrate than with some tacos for a good cause.

The Tallahassee Police Department teamed up with the American Heart Association to serve up a fiesta for the TPD staff. The AHA dished up plates of tacos, taco bowls, Spanish rice, corn and even dessert for people who had a craving for sweets.

"We here at the Tallahassee Police Department have had dealt with issues and health issues, and health scares," said Officer Cleveland Allen. "So, what better way to raise awareness by being in the community, since we serve the community, why don't we help to educate and provide research toward, possibly solving some of these diseases."

Each plate was $5.00 and all the money will go towards the American Heart Association's Heart Walk in September.
