It's a dream come true for some homeless people in Tallahassee.
Residents of "The Shelter" on Tennessee St. had the chance for a night out at the opera.
The shelter's music therapists arranged for 40 people from "The Shelter" to go see "Opera Street Scene."
The music is performed by FSU students.
All residents wore gowns and suits donated by the community.
FSU's College of Music did the ladies' hair and makeup and even painted their nails.
"I'm just speechless. I feel like Cinderella. I'm just so excited to know it's really happening in a few hours. I'm just elated," Jewel DeVane, Resident of The Shelter said.
The group rode in a bus from Mike's Limousine.
The Shelter was able to raise more than $3,000 from the community to fund the event.
