Tallahassee FL- The music was turned up in downtown Tallahassee, as people celebrated this years Tally Fiesta.
While dancers took to the floor the audience was encouraged to stand up and participate in tonight's Latino Cultural presentation.
Authentic Hispanic food was served and some of the spanish language was taught to youngsters as part of the event. The hope was for those in attendance to learn more about the cultural diversity in the big bend area.
Tally Fiesta Chair Mariejose VillaVicencio said, "Im hoping people recognize that there are a lot of hispanics in North Florida. And they recognize the food the language the culture."
This is the second year Tally Fiesta has entertained and educated from Kleman Plaza, and organizer hope this will be a new tradition for Tallahassee.
