Tallahassee, FL - A group rallied outside of Congressman Steve Southerland's office vowing to "protect the future."
They gathered to send a message to Congress to say NO to cuts in Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid.
Local residents just wrapped up a rally. They went up the stairs to his office and sent him a message to Washington.
This peaceful protest as they called it was about cuts during this season of budgeting. They say people on the right are attempting to make cuts from social security, Medicaid and Medicare.
Their message is to ask Congressman Southerland to vote against anything that would compromise those benefits.
