Thomasville, GA - Southwest Georgia Technical College and Moultrie Technical are in the process of merging.
We're told by administrators that with combining the two tech schools it will give students more options when deciding what courses to take.
"From a student perspective it will be good for them. It will be better for them because there will be some additional programs of study that we can offer at various locations. It will really give them more choices in programs and courses to take," said Dr. Craig Wentworth, SWGT President.
Dr. Wenthworth is set to be the new leader once the schools merge which is slated for July of 2015.
