Thanksgiving Day Weather

After a fairly chilly start to the day, temperatures will warm up nicely this afternoon! Highs will be in the lower 70's across the area. No chance of rain for us. In fact, the sunshine will be out in full force.

Temperatures will cool off pretty quickly overnight. If you're heading to the stores early for some Black Friday deals, you'll want to bring a jacket. A blanket and some hot coffee might be helpful if you expect to wait in line! Overnight low temperatures will be falling to near 38°. Some colder areas might see some light, patchy frost.

A cold front will move through late Friday night. We won't see any rain, but temperatures will fall again this weekend. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 60's, so it will be pretty chilly for the Florida-Florida State football game.

We could also see a light freeze Sunday morning, the first of the season. Temperatures will be dropping to the lower 30's.

Better chances of rain early next week with another cold front. For now, enjoy the holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!
