The 43rd Annual Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Tallahassee, FL - January 20, 2013

The Honorable Bill Proctor, Leon County Commissioner will be the keynote speaker for the Inter-Civic Council of the Southern Christian Leadership Council of Tallahassee, Inc.

The 43rd celebration observing the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 501 West Orange Avenue, Tallahassee.

Five groups and organizations will be honored as award recipients. The honorees are Delta Kappa Omega Foundation, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Amos P. Godby High School Football Team; R. Frank Nims Middle School Football Team; FAMU Developmental Research School Girls Basketball Team.
