Annual Luncheon to Help Find a Cure for MS [SLIDE SHOW]

Tallahassee, FL - September 13, 2012

The National MS Society, North Florida Chapter hosted its 14th annual On the Move MS luncheon to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis on Thursday, September 13th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the University Center Club in FSU Doak Campbell Stadium.

Guest Speaker Jeannie Unruh, former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Kentucky Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, will discuss her personal experience with MS as well as the different benefits the National MS Society offers to those living with the disease. She has been awarded the MS Achievement Award in 1993 and was recently presented with an award named after their founder Sylvia Lawry. Jeannie also hosts the Kentucky Southeast Indiana National MS Chapter's Crystal Boots and Silver Spurs Gala at her home, which has contributed over $600k in the past two years towards MS research.
At the luncheon, each guest is asked to make a donation in order to benefit those living with MS in North Florida and contribute to the ongoing national research to find a cure for the disease.
