At 1:30pm today, folks can choose from workshops on topics ranging from voter suppression to choosing financial stability versus poverty. Then at 3:15pm, workshops that will attempt to answer questions such as "Can Black Legislators Help Put Black Floridians Back to Work?" and "Driving Florida's Future in Energy: Where Can We Go?" will take place. All of these workshops will be held throughout the capitol complex.

Today is the second day of this annual event that aims to bring together Florida's black community with experts and leaders from across the state and nation.

This is the 10th year that Florida Conference of Black State Legislators and the Florida Legislative Black Caucus have put on this four-day long event.
