Thomas County, GA - The races are heating up just days before election day.

There are a couple of contests that has people talking in Thomas County Georgia.

In the Sheriff's race longtime incumbent Carlton Powell is facing some tough competition in Dale Mattila.

The race for Coroner has incumbent Sam Brown taking on long time funeral home owner Don Shiver.

And the other big race that has people talking is the State Representative race in District 173.
Incumbent Darlene Taylor squares off with Haley Shank.
