Thomasville, GA - A Thomasville Museum beat everyone in the state for a chance to get bigger and better.
The Jack Hadley Black History Museum received a grant for over 32-thousand dollars. It comes from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Forty-one programs applied for the funding, but The Jack Hadley Black
History Museum was the only museum in the state of Georgia chosen to receive it.
The award will allow the museum to hire a part-time museum registrar and create an internship program.
The museum is currently home to over 3 thousand artifacts!
