Thomasville Road reopened around 6:30pm for traffic.
Tallahassee, FL -- May 31, 2012 --
Due to a fallen tree across all traffic lanes, Thomasville Road is currently closed between Hermitage Blvd and I-10. Motorists should seek alternate routes and be prepared for delays.
With several power outages also in northern areas of the city, several traffic signals are not operating. Motorists are reminded to approach intersections where signals are out as a four-way stop.
Though power has been restored to several areas, 3,400 customers remain without power, mostly south of I-10 between Thomasville Road and North Meridian Road. Crews continue restoration efforts.
