Tallahassee, Florida - September 2, 2012
The chants...the food...the comraderie.
That's some of what you get tailgating at an FSU football game.
"Family, friends, food, alcoholic beverages, it's just great," said Nole fan, Sean Farrell.
From early Saturday morning, until kickoff, thousands of people came out to support the Noles.
Jason Battaglia is a second generation FSU student. He believes tailgating helps create the college experience.
"It's just memories with friends, it's something I'm always going to remember," Battaglia said.
All around Doak Campbell Stadium, throughout campus, people set up shop and celebrated the first football game of the season.
"Just having a good time, hopefully preparing for a national run," said student Devin Peirce
"It's wild, it's crazy, it's the best time in Tallahassee, that's for sure," said Nole fan, Brooke Webber.
"It's just one big party honestly, everybody just parks all over the place and drinks and eats, it's awesome," said another fan, Megan Gwynn.
FSU students, alumni and fans all showed their excitement for this moment, to watch the 7th ranked Seminoles battle Murray State.
