Three Car Accident in Wakulla County with Serious Injuries
Wakulla County, FL -- August 4, 2012
Maranda Forehand, 27 was traveling southbound in a 1986 Nissan on US-319 in stop and go traffic. Christopher Taylor, 31 was stopped in a 2003 Dodge Dakota on US-319 southbound directly ahead of Forehand. John Floyd, 57 was stopped in a 2012 Toyota Tundra on US-319 southbound directly ahead of Taylor. Forehand failed to observe that Taylor stopped causing her to collide with Taylor. The vehicle Taylor was driving was pushed forward causing it's front to collide with the back of the Toyota.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by: Wakulla County Sheriff Office, Wakulla County Volunteer Fire Department Station #8, Wakulla County Fire and Wakulla County Emergency Medical Services. US-319 was blocked for approximately (30) thirty minutes. Ronald Kilgore, 31 was transported to Tallahassee Memorial with serious injuries. Angela Taylor, 29 sustained minor injuries.
