Bainbridge, GA- Investigators with Bainbridge Public Safety are searching for three men who approached three adults and a child with guns on Monday afternoon, demanding money.
When the victims told them that they didn't have any money, the men tied them up inside the house with shoelaces and electrical wire.
A fourth adult came home mid robbery and told investigators she was then sexually assaulted.
"She basically states she walked into the door. They confront her with a gun. They put her on the floor. They cut the blue jean material from the rear of her pants and actually touched her in inappropriate ways," said Major Robert Humphrey with Bainbridge Public Safety.
The suspects then took off with $500 in a vehicle belonging to one of the victims. Investigators later found that vehicle abandoned a few blocks away from the home.
Investigators say the suspects were wearing hoods so they have little information about their appearances.
"It was indicated by the witnesses there that they knew they were black males because of the fact of the eye openings; they could actually see the black skin around their eyes and they felt like they were young, 19, 20, 21 year-olds," said Humphrey.
Investigators say judging by what witnesses and the victims told them, they believe this house was targeted. Investigators say the suspects made comments to the victims during the attack that only someone who knew them would know.
A silver Ford Focus was also seen leaving the area of the crime scene.
