Truck Goes Through Window of Tallahassee Papa Johns [SLIDE SHOW]

Tallahassee, FL, February 5, 2013, - Employees at a local papa johns had a scary moment today when a truck slammed into the restaurant.

A tow truck just hauled away a pickup truck that rammed into Papa Johns on Apalachee parkway at Victory Garden Drive.

The truck was driving west on Apalachee when it veered off and hit the store.

There were at least two employees inside of the store at the time. A worker at the front register said it was a close call, and that she felt the glass hit her body.

TPD tells us the driver was taken away with minor injuries.

Papa Johns declined to comment on the story. Right now they are still cleaning the place. We'll reach out to them for a statement but for now police will be investigating how the truck veered off the road.

Tallahassee, FL, February 5, 2013, 4:49pm - A white pickup truck slammed into a papa johns restaurant taking out the front entrance at around 3:30 this afternoon.

The driver has been taken to the hospital.

It was a scary moment for employees at the Papa Johns on Apalachee parkway here in Tallahassee when a truck crashed into the front door of the pizza store.

A tow truck driver is currently taking away the truck; we were told there was one person driving the truck and multiple employees inside at the time.

There was a girl at the counter who says she felt the shower of glass rush towards her body.

You can see the truck reached the counter which made it a close encounter for the employee.

No one inside was hurt and the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Tallahassee, FL - At around 3:30 pm, WCTV was notified of an accident involving a truck crashing into a business along Apalachee Pkwy in Tallahassee.
