Today is all about the warm and calm before the storms... There's a GOOD possibility that parts of The South gets some serious weather on Wednesday... Including OUR area.
Highs today may scare 80 (record high for this date is 81 from 1914, btw). We'll have a mix of clouds and sun, with more humid conditions today. Tonight, staying near 60 with patchy fog forming, and increasing clouds...
Wednesday, it'll still get way up into the 70s, but a sharp cold front from the west will be moving east. The afternoon/evening looks like our best shot to see showers and thunderstorms - some which could be STRONG or SEVERE. We'll be watching carefully and updating frequently tomorrow. The window for showers and storms looks to be after 2pm and before midnight - and it will change a little between now and then... There is a threat for damaging winds and possible tornadoes... so please keep checking in with us!
Thursday, MUCH COOLER - highs only around 60, and a bit breezy... Friday likely near freezing to start!
