Moultrie, GA- According to the Moultrie Police Department, two men were shot multiple times, just moments after an argument broke out between a crowd of people.

Police say the incident allegedly happened sometime between 2:00-3:00 a.m. Sunday near a nightclub along the 800 block of 12th Street Northwest.

A representative, however, from that nightclub says she has no knowledge of any incident or shooting happening on or near their property at any time.

Police say the two men were taken to the hospital in a car and were both treated for multiple gun shot wounds.

At this time, police are not releasing the victims' names but say they're both African American men in their thirties.

Police say the victims are still recovering in the hospital and are too sedated to talk; but investigators say they're hoping as their health improves, they'll be able to give police more details as to what exactly happened that night.

This is the second incident in one week in which multiple people have been shot in Moultrie.

Right now, there are no suspects in this shooting, although two people have been arrested in connection to the shooting from last week.

Anyone with information on this crime should contact the Moultrie Police Department immediately.
