Valdosta Police Find Man Involved In Recent Shooting Incident

After a month of searching, police have arrested the man accused of a shooting in Valdosta.

Police arrested Kenneth Lee Horton Monday morning after a stake-out in Lake Park, GA.

According to police, Horton was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

It came after the Valdosta Police Department issued warrants for his arrest following the March 6, 2014 incident.

Nobody was injured in the shooting, and Horton was arrested without incident, according to police.

Detectives from the Valdosta Police Department have obtained arrest warrants on Kenneth Lee Horton (AKA James Morton), African American male, 31 years of age, Valdosta resident, who was identified as the offender in a shooting incident on March 6, 2014 in the 1300 block of Ponderosa Drive.

No one was injured during the incident. Horton is currently wanted for two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. If anyone knows his whereabouts or sees him, they are asked to call 911.
