Man Wanted for Hitting Woman with Baseball Bat

Quincy, FL - September 20, 2012

The Quincy Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Kenneth Darrell Wade, 43, of Quincy. Mr. Wade is wanted for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

On September 15th QPD responded to the area of Elm Street in response to a female relative of Wade’s being struck in the head by him with a baseball bat. When police arrived Wade had fled the scene and the victim was located and advised that she and Wade had been fighting and that he had struck her with a baseball bat on the head.

The victim was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where she received treatment for a serious head wound.

Kenneth Darrell Wade has an extensive violent criminal history and is being sought for arrest at this time. A warrant has been signed by a judge for Aggravated Battery without bond.

Anyone with information about Mr. Wade’s whereabouts should contact the Quincy Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division at 850-627-7111 or CrimeStoppers at 574-TIPS. If your information leads to an arrest you could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
