Tallahassee FL- A new community chairman was sworn in today during the Wakulla County Commission meeting.
It all started at 6:00 p.m. at the very beginning of the commission meeting when the county chairman and vice chairman were elected and then sworn in. Commissioner, Richard Harden, was made county chairman and Ralph Thomas was made vice chair.
Wakulla County Administrator David Edwards explained, "It will primarily be the way the meetings are conducted and the way that some items are brought forward but it shouldn't change the way the governance of the county."
A new chairmen is selected every year, and the commissioners decide who that person will be.
