Tallahassee FL- With high speed winds and lots and lots of rain the big bend suffered some damage.
In Tallahassee reports of trees blocking road ways came in all afternoon. These are images of a crew clearing McClay road in Tallahassee. In Gadsden we caught up with the Sheriff's Office who told us they almost couldn't handle the amount of calls they got today.
Gadsden County Sheriff's Office lieutenant, Bob Wilder "Today what happened with that storm being so quick and so powerful as it was when it came through our dispatchers- there are two of them in there right now, they were a little overwhelmed by the calls that were coming in."
Gadsden county reported dozens of calls about power outages, power lines and trees down. Emergency Management in Wakulla County also reported around 25 different calls for trees, and power lines down throughout the area.
