Tallahassee, Fla. 8-5-13
Tallahassee veterans are using the Internet to showcase military veterans in the area.
The website IHonor.org lets loved ones submit a thank you or story about a veteran they know. There are more than 27,000 veterans in the Big Bend area alone.
Those behind the I-Honor Organization want their stories to be told and social media is just another way to do just that.
"This is a way we felt we could reach out and maybe make more people aware of what we're doing," said veteran Joe West. "How we're doing it, get them to talk a little bit about the veteran in their life."
If you're thinking of submitting a photo and story of your veteran, it's absolutely free once you go online at IHonor.org. There's also a Facebook page so you can share those memories.
