Tallahassee, FL - A new report shows those living in St. Johns County in Florida are the healthiest in the state.
The statewide county health rankings were released yesterday. The county last on the list is Union County.
Leon County comes in at number 8 on the list, Wakulla County at number 27, Jefferson County at 56, and Gadsden County at 63.
The study from the University of Wisconsin and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, examines factors such as economic, social, behavioral, environmental, and clinical care.
Dr. John Armstrong is Florida's surgeon general and secretary of health. He says the goal is to turn "Florida into the healthiest state in the nation."
