Thomasville, GA- A South Georgia woman is now behind bars, accused of stealing hundreds of dollars from the business where she worked.

Thomasville Police say 48-year-old Gloria Conger worked at Cannon's Classic Cleaners.

The store's owner said over a three week period, he noticed money, credit card receipts and checks were missing from a secret location inside the business.

That's when he took matters into his own hands and set up surveillance cameras inside the store.

"He went in to check the surveillance tapes and he noticed it was an employee that was coming in, using the back entrance, coming inside the business and taking the deposits from an undisclosed location," said Chief of Thomasville Police, Ellis Jackson.

Conger was charged with four counts of burglary.

Police said she took more than a thousand dollars in cash and checks.
