A local man has been released from the hospital after being stabbed in the abdomen over the weekend.
It happened around 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 19 at house located at 8 Brooks Lane in Thomasville.

The victim, 62 year-old Samuel Peterson, says he was laying on the couch when his girlfriend Denise Robinson stabbed him.
Police arrested Robinson and have charged her with aggravated assault.
Peterson says he's still recovering from the incident.
"I been moving slow, but like the doctor told me, it's going to take some time to get back to where I was," he said.
Robinson was booked at the Thomas County Jail where she remains on a $6100 bond.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
