A passenger in an off road vehicle died Saturday morning in Hamilton County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, James Treece, 21, was driving west on SE 62nd Drive with his wife Courtney Treece, 20, as his passenger. He was approaching a left curve.
FHP says when Treece over-corrected his steering to the left, his wife fell out of the vehicle, and hit her head on the road.
The release says Courtney Treece died on scene.
A toxicology report is pending. James and Courtney Treece were not wearing seatbelts.
The driver could face charges pending a traffic homicide investigation.
