HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A worker has been killed after a crane toppled over at a construction site in Hallandale Beach.
City spokesman Peter Dobens says the victim was working on a sea wall in the Golden Isles neighborhood when the crane fell Thursday morning.
The man's identity has not been released.
The Hallandale Beach police and fire departments are investigating the cause of the collapse.
Dobens says responders were called at 9:49 a.m. Thursday. Hallandale Beach near Fort Lauderdale in southern Broward County.
