Colquitt County, GA - A youth football team wanted to show their support to the community before starting football season.
The South Georgia Hawgs in the Pop Warner League in Colquitt County visited the Pruitt-Health Magnolia Manor today.
The team helped serve lunch and also spent time with the elderly who live at the nursing home. Coach Wallace told us the visit to the nursing home was all about building life lessons for his players.
"You get to meet the elderly people and help them and serve them food and stuff and do all that," said team member Blayne Ross.
The team told us they're also dedicating their football season to the men and women serving in our United States Military.
