You people crack me up. Have you ever did a ride along with TPD or the SO? Maybe you should, this way you get some info on what they do. J walking is a crime, this gives the officer pc to stop and ask Questions. You have no idea how many people with warrents or drugs get arrested by this. So blow smoke somewhere else. You want to bash the police for not doing anything, but you bash them on doing there job. Have you some involvment with them? is this why you bash them? If you have never been introuble, ride along with them. Then your outlook will change.

To the comment made on the Jay walkers, and Police resources being waisted, you are exactly right! The jay walkers are not hurting anyone...Besides the jay walking rules only apply to some in this town. You want see them waisting their resources on the legistlators who dart out in front of cars, walk all in the streets, and look at you as if you have done something wrong when you almost run them over. So bottom line, police meed to worry about all these real crimes that are talking place and leave the state workers alone. Oh! Also while they are harrassing the state, they can explain why legistlators and college students are all exempt formthe jaywalking rules!!!!! Yes this is fact, I called and reported it to TPD and whenI told them where this was taking place....I was told there was nothing they could do??

So I just looked at the video cameras pictures of the guy, i don't car if he is black or white, blue or green. I have accounts at a couple of banks here in town. When I walk in the door they all have signs that say "Please remove hats, sunglasses, etc." Why are these policy not enforced? One of my banks has an officer there all the time, if someone walks in without taking off the mention items why not stop them and make then comply or not let them in? Just a thought!

Nice, Simone. Base a biased opinion on a tiny fragment of info. If you'd driven by the bank at 6:00pm, like I did, you'd have witnessed the Law&Order: SVU scene you so desperately want to see. Newsflash: you can only investigate for so long before you have to go piece info together. And FYI, if a person was judged based on one fleeting moment to prove herself (decided by others) you don't even WANT to know how YOU'D be judged. You're a hyper-sensitive, overly opinionated while under-informed part of what's WRONG with society. Thanks for reminding me to keep my guard up and conform, lest I be judged too.

I just rode by FSU Credit Union. No One is investigating anything! Crime scene tape has been removed....the TPD officers that live in Havana have returned home in their city owned police cars. The criminals ( yes there were 2 ) have evaded the police dog ( check @ the Capital Inn across the street only if you WANT A LEAD ) TPD wants an " easy catch" . I am 3 feet from the scene and not a single person is investigating! WCTV is not here. The Police are not here. YEt...Investigation?

Folks. You better get your community in check. Law enforcement is gonna bend only so much and so is the populus for that matter. This criminal element only understands one thing. Violence. And we can only be pushed so far before we take matters into our own hands. Shame it has come to this. Real shame.

IF TOT TALLY PEOPLE WOULD QUIT J-WALKING USEING UP ALL THE POLICE'S RESOURSES MABY THEY COULD CATCH SOME OF THESE BANK ROBBERS. BUT I DOUBT IT. IN THE LAST 2 YEARS ALMOST EVERY DAY IT SEEMS THERE ARE BANK ROBERYS IN LEON COUNTY. BUT I CAN ONLY RECOUNT ONLY ONE OR TWO GETTING CAUGHT. WHY NOT USE TAX PAYERS MONEY AND PUT COPSAT ALL THE BANKS? THAT IS WHAT THEY DO WITH THE BARS.

I remember about a year and a half ago a white man robbed a bank. I will never forget, one of the posters said they bet he was a nice guy who had fallen on hard times. A few months ago a white guy robbed a bank and was caught on camera. One poster asked the question "how do you know he was white." Silly considering the pic showed him as plain as day. Why is it when a white person commits a crime, any crime, people make all kinds of excuses....
