Tallahassee Memorial Health Care is inviting you to join them in their "women wearing red to fight heart disease campaign."
The campaign is it's fifth year at tallahassee memorial...and it is an on-going effort to to educate women about their risk for disease.
Heart disease is the number one killer of American women regardless of race or ethnicity.
Women who smoke are at risk for having a heart attack 19 years earlier than those who don't light up.
Thirteen women from Tallahassee and the surrounding communities are answering the call to serve as ambassadors for heart disease awareness.
