Governor Charlie Crist plans to name the new head of the Department of Juvenile Justice Friday.
Democratic state Representative Frank Peterman of St. Petersburg
is Crist's choice to succeed Walt McNeil, who was recently named
head of the state's Department of Corrections.
Peterman works as director of development for a nonprofit agency
that runs diversionary programs for first-time youthful offenders.
