Palo Alto Labs of Port St. Lucie is recalling two supplement products sold under the names Aspire36 and Aspire Lite because the products contain potentially harmful ingredients.
The products -- manufactured in the U.S. and sold on the
Internet nationwide -- are sold as a blister pack containing one
liquid capsule or a bottle containing either three or 12 liquid
The company says in a statement that the Food and Drug
Administration found samples of the products contained an active
ingredient similar to an FDA-approved drug for erectile
The company says the chemicals pose a threat to consumers
because they may interact with nitrates found in some prescription
drugs and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.
