Overweight government employees have been given a year to lose weight or else they'll have to pay 25 dollars a month for health insurance.
Right now, the insurance is free.
Alabama already charges state workers who smoke an extra insurance fee.
The obesity charge will be for those with body mass index of 35 or higher.
