A Florida sheriff's deputy has been suspended for manhandling a distraught woman who was speeding to a hospital to see her father who had been stricken with a heart attack.
The driver stopped for the officer near the hospital in Hillsborough County and explained her situation.
The deputy returns to his car.
The motorist, Melissa Langston, then drives into the hospital parking lot. The deputy chases her and stops her for a second time in the hospital parking lot.
He yanks her from her car and slams her against it.
She continues to plead with the officer...who now tells her he's taking her to jail.
The officer was suspended for five days without pay.
Langston's father was in the hospital six days and went home with two stents.
