When I went to college I worked to pay my way so with that, classes, and studying I didn't have time to follow anyone around with a video camera. I suggest if these students have that much time on their hands, money to buy gas to follow officers around, and a real desire to help someone that they visit shutins or deliver meals for Meals on Wheels. While it is sad a police informant was killed, I don't recall that ever happening in Tallahassee before so it seems to me their proposal is a kneejerk over reaction with no thought as to the danger they will be creating to law enforcement personnel and innocent bystanders in serious situations by their mere presence and the distraction of law enforcement personnel who will have to protect them.

I buy foreign brand automobiles, but American brand pickups. I've found, as Tom says, the foreign cars give less trouble and I've driven some nearly 200,000 miles before giving them to someone else who needed a car to continue driving. American half ton pickups, however, used to be larger and stronger than any foreign, then they were made weak to get better fuel mileage. Today foreign pickups are getting stronger, although I need one larger than they offer to pull trailers on the farm so I'm still buying American. My answer would have to be split.

As a mechanic, the asian cars out perform american cars as far as repairs. They have a longer life and fewer major repairs. I hate this fact, but they are better built. All vehicles will need repair and maintenance, but I make the majority of my money on american cars and trucks. They have gotten better, but still are far behind. So keep buying american cars so my job will continue to be good.

People in the spotlight, athletes, politicians, law enforcement ect... need to hold a higher standard. Phelps smoking weed is an example, he showed bad judgement, not only is it illegal but could have had him kicked out of the olympics as well. I can't believe that so many thinks he should keep his endorsements. Those who continue to endorse him will loose my buisness.

I bet if this question were asked this way "should he lose his endorsements after your children have seen this picture everywhere" you'd have an overwhelming majority of people voting "yes"; even though it's not right, a lot of kids see their sports hero's as role models instead of just normal people who happen to excel in sports

Why was this mandated by congress? Digital is not the holy grail it is made out to be. I would rather have to deal with a picture that may not be lifelike instead of having a signal that fades in and out and pixelates. There is a reason for this mandatory conversion, and when it is discovered, Americans will learn the power of the NSA and Homeland Security. Mark My Words!!

The folks who are not ready for digital TV because they cannot afford cable, satellite or a converter box likely also do not have a computer and internet access to tell your poll that they are not ready!

How Could you not be ready? We have been told for the last year to get ready.
