MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) -- The Brevard Zoo has a new baby giraffe.
The zoo reports that a Masai giraffe named Johari gave birth to
a male last Wednesday. The father's name is Raffiki.
While the baby and its mother remain separated from the rest of
the herd, zookeepers are gradually introducing the infant to the
other giraffes. The zoo plans to put the mother and baby out on
exhibit in the next two or three weeks.
