Makeup has many faces. It can be worn anytime, day or night. You can use lots of color or very little. It really is something that can change from day to day, hour to hour. You can start the day with a clean face and finish with a face full of color.
For a clean, fresh daytime face, makeup artist Randi Buchanan suggests a light look with neutral lips and eyes and a brush of neutral or soft pink blush. She says you can wear this look all day and it's easy to maintain.
For nighttime, Buchanan suggests bumping up your look with a pop of color on the lips. Bright pink is very stylish right now. She also suggests adding volume to your eyes with fake lashes.
No matter what look you chose, be comfortable in your choice. If you try a color and it's not for you, tone it down, change it up or simply take it off and start again.
