JEFFERSON, Ga. (AP) -- The Jefferson Fire Department says a
19-year-old student at Towers High School in DeKalb County drowned
during the weekend at a private lake in Jackson County.
They say the body of Jhacobe Campbell was found
about 70 feet from shore Saturday evening.
Local reports say that Campbell was about to graduate and was
slated to attend the University of West Alabama on a football
scholarship.
He played cornerback in high school.
Campbell's mother, Shauntae Campbell, says
her son had been swimming and hanging out with his friends.
