Hundreds turned out at FSU's University Center tonight (3-9-12) for the 11th annual Alzheimer's Gala.
The Gala was hosted by wctv's Triston Sanders. They came to honor nearly 30 caregivers who work and care for people in the Big Bend area with Alzheimer's.
"They're part of the community and they're part of the service array that we provide and without them we would not be able to reach the number of people that we do nor provide the number of services that we provide," says Bill Wertmen CEO of Alzheimer's project.
Wertman says there are about 150 caregivers working with people who have Alzheimer's in the Big Bend
