They discussed a variety of issues affecting the black community. One of the biggest being voter suppression.

They say some of the new voting laws put in place are meant to suppress the back vote. other changes that concern them deal with early vote.

This year, early voting was reduced from two weeks to eight days and sunday voting was eliminated. Statistically, numbers show a high African American turnout during that time.

In earlier days, you voted on the Tuesday of the election, and that was it... We have a bunch of whiners here. And they wonder why they cannot get ahead. Quit whineing and do something, like stop crime in your neighborhoods....by the way, a bit racist to have black business caucus...wonder what these whiners would do if they had a white business caucus...What ignorant whinning fools

Why don't we start discussing how to become ONE community instead of constantly singling out one part of it.

Please explain how the changes "suppress" the black vote. The polls are open at the same times, the same days for everybody. Pick a day and go vote. Where's the "suppression"? Will these people ever stop whinning and demanding special treatment because of race? Probably not.
