One Dead in Wakulla County Collision
[UPDATE] Sopchoppy, FL - The Wakulla County Sheriff's office is reporting that the victim in Monday's fatal accident on Surf Road in Sopchoppy is 64-year-old James Monroe Sanders, of Sopchoppy.
They say he did not die on scene but about an hour after that crash happened. Monroe was pronounced dead at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
Sopchoppy, FL - WCTV has reached out to the Florida Highway Patrol several times for any updates on this fatal crash and have not been able to get any more information other than that it happened Monday afternoon and involved one driver.

Sopchoppy, FL - FHP has reported a traffic fatality from an afternoon collision at approximately 3:30pm, Monday December 3rd at 42 Surf Road in Sopchoppy, FL.
According to FHP, the accident involved a single driver and vehicle.
The man driving the vehicle appears to have gone off road and smashed into tree.
Detectives are still on the scene.
