Tallahassee's third annual St. Patrick's Day Parade made its way through downtown today (3-17-12)

Hundreds lined the streets as the various floats made their way along Macomb Street all the way to Adams Street. It also featured Irish step-dancers and pipers.

"Well, I'm looking forward to my niece and nephew. They're in the stick patrol with the boys and girls club. They're in the parade today,"Jacinda Vickers.

There was also a 5k walk and run prior to the parade. It's put on by the Tallahassee Irish Society.

How great can this be to have Irish ancestry and celebrate today and to also have Scottish ancestry and be able to celebrate Tartan Day on April 6th?
