Students March in Anti-Rape Walk

Hundreds of students marched down Tennessee Street this afternoon. Chanting and raising signs. All in part of a rally to raise awareness against rape.

The march ended in front of FSU's student center. There, rally members spoke out against rape and shared their own stories and experiences with the group.

"You can never blame the rape of a person on the victim. It's never their fault. It doesn't matter how they're dressed. It doesn't matter if they're drunk. It doesn't matter if they're even flirting with the person. Yes means Yes and No means No," says Teagan Alexander, march organizer.

Alexander estimates about 300 people showed up to the march. Alexander says they started planning the march last semester. It's part of a global movement that began in Toronto to raise awareness against rape.
