John-Ford Griffin is making Tallahassee home for the second time.
He played baseball for the Seminoles and played for five professional organizations during 10 years.
Now he's about to open his own training facility.
Griffin hopes it gives the next generation tools he says he didn't have.

"Tallahassee has a wealth of talent up here that to me sometimes gets over looked," said Ford-Griffin. "I said, you know what, this has the perfect setting for a facility that can promote a high level of competition."
PowerMill is set to open June 4 on Power Mill Court in Tallahassee.
It'll be fully equipped with four batting cages, two pitching mounds and four hit stations.
"It's kind of like a driving range," said Ford-Griffin talking about the hit stations.
PowerMill will also be home to Tallahassee Juniors Volleyball.
Athletes of all ages will be able to sign up for lessons or rent out space.
It looks like it's only set up for baseball, softball and volleyball.
However, Ford-Griffin says they're looking to develop all athletes through other training sessions available.
"It's really tough to train everything at one time," said Ford-Griffin. "This way it breeds competition. You sit here and you watch what your friend does and you want to out do them."
Once their website is up and running, athletes will be able to book their lessons online.
