“Beth Kirkland has demonstrated incredible leadership in her tenure as a board member and will continue to advance FEDC's mission as our 2012-13 Chair," said Amy Evancho, President and CEO of the Florida Economic Development Council. "Beth contributed her time and skills as a previous Vice-Chair of Marketing and Communications, leading the movement to build a more robust brand and communications for FEDC. Beth's ability to drive collaboration and work with FEDC members throughout the state will bring tremendous value to this organization."
As Executive Director of TalEDC, Kirkland has worked with many economic and workforce development organizations to grow jobs, facilities and investments in her community. “We see great value in Beth serving in this statewide role. Not only are Tallahassee and Leon County elevated, but the professionals of FEDC are sure to benefit under her leadership, strengthening Florida as a whole,” said Karen Moore, Chairman of TalEDC.
