Tallahassee, Florida - January 4, 2012 -
Eyewitness News has confirmed that Capital Regional Medical Center CEO Bud Wethington is leaving. He is leaving to become CEO at Tomball Regional Medical Center in Texas.
Bud Wethington started his tenure at Capital Regional in December 2008.
Prior to that he served as CEO at Palmyra Medical Center in Albany, Georgia.

Statement from HCA North Florida regarding announcement of Capital Regional Medical Center CEO Bud Wethington:
Hospital Corporation of America, North Florida Division, would like to take this opportunity to wish Capital Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Bud Wethington well, as he embarks upon a new opportunity with Tomball Regional Medical Center, a 357-bed hospital in Tomball, Texas. Since beginning his tenure with Capital Regional in December 2008, Mr. Wethington has played an integral role in the success of the facility. Projects he has completed include the opening of Capital Regional’s Gadsden Memorial Campus, the first dedicated emergency room in Gadsden County in more than five years; the establishment of Tallahassee’s only dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room; and the implementation of advanced tools and techniques that have bolstered the high quality patient care for which Capital Regional Medical Center has become known.
The search to replace Mr. Wethington is in progress. We are pleased with the tremendous interest in the position we’ve already received and are currently interviewing candidates.
The future for Capital Regional Medical Center is a strong one, as we continue to offer the highest quality care to our community. Our facility will soon break ground on an additional floor that will expand the hospital by 40 more beds and add more than 115 top-quality healthcare jobs to our area.
We wish Mr. Wethington the best and look forward to the announcement of our new Chief Executive Officer.

i left on my own. i got sick of working with people who were high and/or drunk. also got tired of working with people who were supervising their spouses. i'm sure that's illegal! all spouses were given favoritism for shifts and assignments. everyone knows it but no one did anything. the other supervisors are rude and if you're smarter than they are, they will demand you to fear them simply because they are intimidated. worst place in the world to work. patient care is not their priority. their own agendas and political dreams trump patient care every single day.
Oh wow. I did not know CRMC was this terrible. Thats why we get alot of patient complaints
