Quincy, FL ---

A spokesperson from Homes and Land Magazine says 42 people lost their jobs when the Printing House closed its doors back on August 15th.

They say due to the recession, the size and circulation of the magazines has decreased - which essentially forced them to close their doors.

The Publishers Press out of Louisville, Kentucky will be taking on the printing duties of the Homes and Land Magazine.

"We're going to be very aggressive in making sure those folks find other opportunities working with Workforce plus, and try to get those folks back in the workforce just as soon as we can," says David Gardner from the Gadsden County Chamber of Commerce.

The Publishing House has been open in Quincy since the 1980's.

We were not able to get a spokesperson from the Quincy Printing House to go on camera and we're still waiting to get more details on the closing.
